Covering a wide range of topics, the conference is open to everyone with an interest in horses and how the work of veterinarians and scientists impacts on equine welfare. In addition to the presentations the conference features the "Twilight Tutorial" an open discussion session between delegates and a panel of speakers at the end of the first day and the Equine Welfare Dedicated Lecture. The lecture, to be delivered by Dr Colin Roberts FRCVS is entitled "Black Beauty in the twenty first century: what would Anna Sewell make of the lot of the horse today?" and is sponsored by the Blue Cross.
