TERMS OF USE FOR STUDENTS

These terms of use govern your use of the BEFRED website. Access to and use of this section of the BEFRED website constitutes your acceptance of these terms and these terms take effect immediately on your first use of the website.

By inputting your abstract into the secure holding area you are submitting your abstract for inclusion on the BEFRED website, subject to the approval of your Authorised Establishment Person (AEP).

Subject to that approval You agree to:

• grant the BEF a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, and to exercise all copyright rights with respect to your abstract and to incorporate and to use the abstract on the BEFRED website and to allow users of BEFRED to use the content in accordance with the Terms of Use;
• authorise the BEF to process any personal information contained in the abstract by incorporating and using the abstract on the BEFRED website and allowing users of BEFRED to use the content in accordance with the Terms of Use for the purposes of providing the following services to users:

• A searchable database of abstracts of research relating to equine topics; and
• A list of establishments which carry out research on equine topics.

By submitting your contribution to the BEF, you

• warrant that your contribution is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to the BEF for all the purposes specified above; and
• accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy; and
• acknowledge that:

-          the BEF will have no obligation to post the abstract on the site; and

-          should the abstract be posted on the website, the BEF will retain the right to remove the abstract at its sole discretion and shall not be liable to you in any way for its removal.

If you do not want to grant to the BEF the rights set out above, please do not submit your abstract into the secure holding area.
